Technical Uconnect - can't connect!!

I've tried to ask this on the ICE forum but not had any answers - I am hoping the Fiat 500 folk might be able to help.

I am trying to connect my iPhone to the Uconnect on my 7" Fiat 500 media player.

I have Uconnect app on my phone and the Media unit recognised my phone but the phone generates this message:

Sorry
This vehicle is currently associated to another user Please ask to the vehicle owner to invite you to use the Uconnect LIVE services.

Just to clarify, are you trying to connect to a new car, or a secondhand one?
