My Fiat's tyres really last forever, so much thread left although the rubber is wearing from the hot climate! They are from 2021, not losing any pressure so still has 1-2 years left I feel. With my other cars they usually wear to the minimum wear market way before the rubber melts off!

Just threw away 2 nine year 32000 mile tyres off a Panda today. Still 5mm of tread left in spiite of my yougests enthusiastic driving. My Bravo did 60k out of front and 85kmiles out of the backs. About 2.5mm of tread was left. It wasnt my driving, although I didnt drive it hard.

Yeah In Greece im scared of going too far due to heat and sun so prob 6 years max for me. They are so light on the tires! Also replacing them are cheap as well about 280 euros for a set of 4 decent tyres (kumhos)

I think its sensible in your climate. Kuhmos have done me well a few times. Oem suppluer for Smart cars. Not so common in the UK. I just paid £170 for 2 panda tyres tho they are 4 seasons so a bit more costly. Fitting and new valves and balancing included.

Nice yeah 185/55/15 on the fiat. I have kumhos on my other car Mini Cooper S and they are super reasonably priced and good quality Michelin and them are just ridiculous

Those look okay. The Younger Mrs S. has a 1.2 manual and the tyres wear out exactly the same; I get a bit more wear on the shoulder of the front left... but the school run has a lot of right hand bends that create a fair amount of loading.

I only ever replace the tyres on the front but once the fitters have checked the tracking and I get it home, I move the new front tyres to the back.. otherwise the rear tyres would never wear out.

I just rotate them every 10-20k so they wear reasonably evenly then just change all 4. otherwise the tyres would get too old
