If driven well and not ragged everywhere, which I doubt you're doing 24/7, then it should be ok.

I try to be a bit sympathetic. Actually it's quite hard to rag it, as you're likely to meet a hedge pdq!! Mine's not used that much and rarely pushed very hard, as I value my licence.

A Panda now, that's waaayyyy more likely to be ragged about as you can do that almost legally! :D It's far easier to find the top end of 50bhp than it is 180bhp (and subjectively more fun). (y)

I had 5.5x14 ET35 steel Panda 169 wheels with 185/50R15" Toyo Proxes CF2 tires, on my 141A 1100 Young, with 30mm H&R lowering springs.
Awesome road performance, like a Go Kart.

Hi

This is a bit of a mickey mouse query but I'm new to Fiats so be gentle with me!

My daughter has a '91 Marbella with the original 135/80's on what appear to be the original steel rims. These seem to be harder to find now than rocking horse poo, and I suspect that those around may be old stock. Can anyone tell me what other combinations can safely fitted on these original rims?

As always there is a back story - she had wanted A Cinque for ages and bought a P plate pushrod that had been traded in - no rust and only a genuine 40K. Unfortunately she had a very violent altercation with a kerb that snapped the bottom wishbone, distorted its mounting points, bent the steering rack arm and did something nasty to the diff as it now makes graunching noises and the drive shaft wobbles. To cut to the chase - will the rims and 145/70 off the Cinque, which is residing in our garden, fit the Marbellaa? Thanks

145/70-13 was a factory tyre for "posh" marbellas like GLX , CLX etc, "normal" versions had 135/80-13, so it is ok to use both of them. I use 155/80-13 without any issues.

I wish these were a lot cheaper, like A LOT cheaper (budget has taken a bit of a battering this month!) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/181197751314?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_2817wt_1161

£120 including delivery for 5 wheels and like new tyres is pretty good though I would say!

Description: ALL TYRES LIKE NEW 135 X80 X 13 X 4 WHEELS
SPARE 135X13 X1 WHEEL

Seems like the ideal set, the only way they could be better is is they were the 155 option, but it doesn't matter anyways as they are currently priced out of my reach!

Im more posting so that if anyone else fancies them they can see them :)

These are off the 750 that I retrieved the parcel shelf and gearstick from. Good guys to deal with; but they really know what things are worth...!

Because of the big dent in the bonnet, I'd be tempted to check the condition of the tyres and wheels very carefully, before plonking any money down on them, though.... :chin:

Its ok, I doubt they would go for the money I could offer them just now, saying that, if noone else has bought them in a months time I could perhaps come in then, but dont let that stop anyone else from bidding, we have a saying in Scotland: "whits fur ye wullnae go by ye"

Thanks. I guessed someone would have the answer - much obliged. My 19 year old self would have just bunged them on but when its your daughter.....
