Alright guys

Just a quick question. What size tyre do you need for 17's so they will fit correctly on a bravo. I.E 205/40 or 215/45??
Because i dont want the wrong size tyres on and then have them shredded within a few weeks.

Also whats the best way of removing the bumper strips on the side of the car, or should i just get them sprayed over?

Thanx
Alex

i think most peeps have 205`s tyres
and the rubbing bits on the doors and rear quarter panels are in a recess, i`ve had a quote for both sides to be done, 650 quid!!!
not really worth it IMO. but i do want a smoothed boot. LOL

i had the side strips done for £50. i left the bumper strips black. a bit of contrast looks better IMO

Get 205/40/17 mate...they will fit fine and will have no problems with them...you can even lower 40mm and still no worrys!

As for the strips, you can spray them and that is your best bet! dont even consider smoothing them! they are bound to go wrong unless you pay stupid money! which you would be a fool to do! just spray them, a tip, spray them on the car, otherwise you might bend them when thay are off the car and cause the paint to flake off! (remember to mask the rest of the car off though,,,,obviously! :) )

Thanx lads appreciate the help. One of the rubbing strips has started to come away from the door, should i just stick it back down with an industrial epoxy resin??

Thanx again

Re: tyre size

I don't know if they used this stuff in the first place but I would use "tigerseal/sikaflex", its what bodyshops yse to fit kits etc.
