Got a set of Coupe alloys with 205/60/15 tyres on them.
Just seen a couple of tyres near to me on Ebay size 195/50/15
Would they fit and if they did would i need all four the same (i know a daft question) as theres only 2 of them for sale.?

I'm no expert but i would have thought the tyre and rim size would need to be the same.

185/55/15 is ideal, though i think 205/50/15 should fit fine too, and will barely affect your speedo. 195/50 again, i think would fit, but that will ake your speedo read over, ever so slightly, though not enough to care about

by the way, i'm not saying those tyre sizes actually exist, or that if they do, they are a reasonable price. i'm just playing with the numbers here:

No problem Buzz
Thanks for that
i've got 205/60/15 on then now but i've seen these on Ebay and there 195/50/15
Just a little smaller but obviously cheaper
(damb site cheaper than the 205/40/17 on the other set i have. lol
Just nneded to know if the 195 would go on a wheel that has 205 on at the minute or is the 10mm no worth thinking about or is it crucial?

well, i had 7" wide rims before, and the tyres were 205mm wide, i now still have 7" wide rims, but have 195mm wide tyres.
You can move a little each way, but it depends on the actual width of the rim. IF coupe standard tyres are 205mm then it sounds like they might be 7" wide.

So they will fit but i'd be going 5 mph slower than my clock would read.
Now to check out the price of them new. lol
Thanks that really helps.
