Punto (Mk2/2b) Tyre pressure?

Hi I am very new here, but I think this are the pressures according to the owner's Manual :).

I need some form of help here myself too thanks!

I run at or close to the full load pressures all the time. Ride is a little harsher, steering a tad lighter and the rolling resistance is less. No adverse tyre wear. Note the fronts always a bit higher than the rears. Front of the car is heavier.

I am sorry to hijack this thread but I have 195/50/15 tyres what pressure would be best and I have some 205/50/15 would there be any benefit to fitting these? thanks . Ok after doing some digging it seems 32/30 psi is ok not sure about what difference bigger tyres would make weather good or bad

with bigger tires car will hold the road better, you got 8v?

Yep got an 8v was just wondering if even tho the 195s I have on at the moment are plenty big enough would 205s grip better ? You can never have to much grip:D

I think 205 tyres are unnecessary for Punto 8V. I bought 185s for this summer and the grip was great, I was vary satisfied with them. Thinner tyres also prevent aquaplaning. And by the way, the bigger and heavier wheels, the slower the car is.:)

There was alot of people year ago having stupidly wide like 205's
The issue you get is the back end has little weight - as a result in the wet it aqua'd and you crashed

Stick to 195 MAX
there is a reason they stuck 185's on
Thats because tbh, there is little weight on its arse

Remember wider tyres = Less pressure ON the tyre (as more contact with ground)
Wide tyres dont always mean more grip
Wider tyres need the downforce to help
