Hi,
I am new to this, just joined. I am no relation to my user name by the way, the others I would usually use were taken. I have bought a Fiat 1.9 JTD Ducato on a Pilote Motorhome body 2002 ( sleeps 4).

I need to know please as I have read conflicting -

1. What would be the tyre pressure needed? I had it at 7.1 PSI , Web states 7.8!

2. I have an occasional crunch in 2nd gear - common I know in old vans, I had a quote by a bonafide place but thinking there may be a 'workaround'.

Thanks all, appreciated in advance your help and support. If I can help anyone of course it's a given! Motorhome or otherwise !!:)

7.1..??

A psi in the 60's would seem more logical

Gearbox..

Does it resist going in.. or just make the occasional noise?

Checking 3 things would be cheap and worthwhile

Engine.gearbox mounts

Gearchange cables

Oil level.. (and oil leaks)

Your tyre pressures should be directly linked to your load on each axle. Without that data and the data on the sidewall of your tyres, it is not possible to advise you correctly.
