Does anyone know what the type (partnumber) of the mass airflow sensor (MAF) in the Marea 100TD (1.9TD) is?

I think the MAF is either defect or dirty.
I have tried to clean it with good result but now it's malfunctioning again so I consider buying a new one - not original if I can get it. Does anyone know of a alternative to the expensive Bosch?

Kind regards
Henrik

Great!

You don't know of a good substitute to the Bosch?
In which country is the price as stated?

Bosch is the only company who makes them. The price is in Belgium and taken from the last TEC-DOC catalogue 04/2003.

As far as I'm aware there is no substitute to this part.
Maybe try to clean it again, and if it's already dirty again then try to trace the source of the dirt ?
Otherwise it will probably have to be an expensive repair ;)

How do you know the mass air flow sensor is dirty? My Bravo JTD 105 seems to have a slight dip in power at about 2800 rpm. Could this be due to a dirty MAF sensor. how do you check to see it is dirty. I dont see any screws or bolts that i can loosen to remove and check it (i assume it's the thing sticking out of the air piping between the airfilter and the intercooler).
