You can't go too fast when you're in a convoy and 2 of the cars won't go over 120. On the autobahns it isn't clear which parts are derestricted and which aren't. Plus they are mostly 2 lanes from what I saw!

Also forgot to mention that for accommodation, we would definitely recommend www.ringhaus.com - only 400m from the track, the staff will bend over backwards to make you happy (not quite literally ), and VERY reasonably priced.
