Hello,
I currently onw a Fiat Punto TwinAir 2012, this has the 85HP motor with the td02 turbo with the external manifold attached to turbo housing. 312A2000 euro 5 specI have precured an 105HP twinair engine, this has the TD025 turbo with the intergrated manifold in the head. 199B6000 euro 6 spec
With as final goal to have the engine chiptuned to around 190NM and 120HP!

This thread would hopefully be a build log that goes trough all the steps so people could do th esame in the future.

current status
obtained a workshop manual for how to replace the chain
obtained torque specs for the headbolts of the twinair directly from fiat dealer (29nm to 32nm -> 90° -> 90°)
working on full bolt list for an orginizer tray that can be 3D printed
working on full list of gaskets
working on full list of tools needed and tools that are usefull to have

some extra information
It seems that for all the euro 6 motors (80HP and 100/105HP) seem to have the upgraded head that was only on the 105hp motor with euro 5 spec.
There is a difference in turbo though, for the 80HP motor this is a TD02 and for the 100/105HP motor this is a td025, the defualt specifications of these engines has the same torque but the real difference is in the higher rev range, the TD025 keeps torque much longer allowing it to create the higher horsepower. so for the euro 6 models only and turbo replacement should be enough to create a 100/105HP spec motor that is tuneable to 190NM and 120HP.

If I am incorrect about something please tell me, I really want to be able up make a full upgrade booklet that tell people how to get the most out of their TwinAir engines

And for the people that are interested, I also have an instagram page for my Punto Twinair https://www.instagram.com/grey_punto_twinair/

Thanks for reading and hope to post again soon.

Interesting! , good luck. I am sure you are aware that the intercooler on 105 hp is bigger than the on one on 85 hp.
Hi, do you know muw much bigger the intercooler is?

Even the version of the abarth seems the same, maybe only the piping is different?

Hi, we have an 85 hp (2019) and a 105 hp (2014) TA in the family. Both Euro 6 .
A quick look they are the same but on closer inspection the 105 has 9 air tubes with fins in between and the 85 only has 8 air tubes.
so looks like 12.5% bigger

I tried to get a ruler in to check dimensions but without taking the bumper off I really couldn't get them reliably . they look about the same

May be check parts numbers in EPer
