Tuning Twin Sportex exhaust

are punto mk2bs able to have twin exhausts, i.e 2 4"sportex back boxs if you get a Y - section??

Is there enough room?

At one time 40% of all computer time at Honda was devoted to getting exhausts just right so the echoes of one valve opening would arrive back at the manifold just in time to do some good for an incoming charge. I can not understand why anyone would tinker with the stock exhaust unless the cam profiles/timing had been altered or a turbo/supercharger added. Makes no sense to me.

most just go to a custom makers and get full system made for about 300 quid, they often then sell on ebay for 50 quid

Someone told me I can get my 2 4" sportex backbox's and then get a Y-Section and hope the 2n backbox fits.

There is less room on the other side because the spare wheel well is off centre. Have a look. Also you might need to consider some sort of heat shield.

mate you can buy ready made sprtex bacboxes that are twin one either side or quad (one either side with twin tips) they have already been welded to a Y pipe and slides straight over your middle pipe just google search for sportex bacboxes n ul find them i did

but in end for the price i just bought a custom stainless job mate...custom one either side costs £350 i asked lol
