Just done annual oil and filter change but sump plug is getting a bit rounded. I can't believe how small the actual bolt head is.
So has anyone found a better alternative?

The alternative I got was too big to use. Basically it was what they use in Rallies, a brass valve with a tap, to replace the sump plug, which only needed a quarter turn to open fully. With a clip to stop it opening by accident.

And a correctly fitting tool..
17mm socket on M12 bolt but it needs to be a long one as there is limited space for my normal socket as the ratchet fouls on the sump.
The bolt head is that small which is why I'm asking if anyone has an alternative.

Just buy a new sump plug? Honda used to replace them every change, bit excessive but never an issue removing them.
Fiat replace them too by all accounts but the crush washer is the same size as I use on my motorcycle so I've a few in my tool box
