tweeters crackling at low volume!help!!!!

since i fitted my new system into my car, my tweeters only have started to crackle from about volume 20 and above. before i had the exact same system in my corsa and they didnt distort until at least volume 30, the only thing that has changed since then is the car and the subs. the only time the tweeters crackle is when s words (like sugar) are said or other high pitched noises.anyone ot any clues as to why this is happening?

I get this also...

My spec is:

Sony Xplod HU, like what wimmy has I can't remember the model number

Infinity Reference Silk dome tweeters in dash with inline crossovers.

JBL 17cm GTO Co-axial Speakers in the doors (I think, myself and Smee bodge fitted them in!)

No rear speakers plugged in

Above all running off of HU and not amped.

Self amped JBL Bass Cannon in boot on sub out from HU.

I need better speakers me thinks. doesn't help that effectively I'm running with 2 lots of tweets.

Most likely is the HU amp is distorting.

i am running a panasonic touch screen headunit,
tv,
ps2,
infinity component system with seperate crossovers
2*12" vibe black airs
6*9's

the only speakers that distort are the tweeters

the component system is run off the headunit not an amp
