lol you just mentioned another few I wasn't exactly a fan of, though don't remember the third

I think to an extent it could've been the time span as Power Rangers were just becoming popular when I hit high school. Much of the other stuff appealed to me due to my age and because I generally think the other shows are cooler :) The Chuckle Brothers are, well, gifted I guess is the best way of putting it

By the request of Martyn...

...a few random ones I remember...

Also, John Leslie in shock dressing up shenanigans...

Craig Charles in something more cheaply put together than Robot Wars...

My two fav gaming shows of the past, they don't make them like this anymore...

...and of course...

See, just been chatting with Rob about some of these - Gilberts Fridge stands out as I seem to remember going to see a roadshow at the AECC and listening to Tears for Fears Everybody Wants to Rule the World in the car on the way home. It's my earliest memory and as there was only one series of the show I was too young to know/remember what it was called. I'm sure thats the character though!

Rob. Animaniacs, friggin awesome.
Martyn.
Down at the bottom of the garden,
Among the birds and the bees.
There live a lot of little people,
They're called The Poddington Peas

There's Cre-Pea, Black Eye-Pea and Dum-Pea.
Keep it a secret now please.
Theres Zip-Pea, Hap-Pea and there's Sweet-Pea
And all the Poddington Peas!

The Poddington Peas!

If anyone doesn't rember this, then they haven't lived.

This used to freak me out when I watched it in the mid 90's

And this always reminds me of when I used to go to Cubs, as our leader called himself Budgie for some unknown reason.

Bucky O'Hare rocked, even just for the intro. Apparently I liked the Button Moon song a lot as a child, this was mentioned to me by my mother a few times if ever the nostalgic tv subject came up. As for Scooby Doo, was great until that bastard Scrappy came onto the scene, smug little git that he was

Heathcliff was great, another one I remember watching but that Tom and Jerry Kids thing, jebus, it looks like a "cool, hype 'n' happenin' " version of the shorts I know and love. At least tell me they didn't speak in the series, please? The WB cartoon shorts are some of the best cartoons ever produced and some of the "revamps" they went through made a mockery of the source material. Of course, this is just my opinion ;)

As for Live & Kicking, I watched it a bit when I could get up that early  Was good for a time, though ended up switching over to SM:TV when it started taking a dive. Think the phone number had lots of 8's and 1's in it though don't ask me the correct order

Anyone rember this??

What about this??

And who rembers this from Saturday Mornings??

And who could forget this??

For 1 Bonus point, who can still rember the original phne number for Live & Kicking??

081 811 81 81 (and I haven't scrolled down yet..)

Speaking of the phone numbers - does anyone else remember the games involving various remote controlled vehicles - most notably wee 4x4's - that you could phone up and 'control' to win a prize. You'd hit like the number 2 for up, 4 for left, 6 for right etc...always seemed dead slow to respond but some how the idea in itself, when you're maybe 10 years old, seemed top drawer!
