General Turbocollective Down

Site was recently handed over to someone else to look after. Obviously the learning curve is steep.

Apparently the problems down to a power loss at the data centre? nothing to do with Paul who is doing his best :bang:

Lewey, when the best UT site in the world is up and running again, you should come over and teach us all how to build uno turbos

charlie.

This is true but the loss of power is out of our control as I'm sure you'd agree and appreciate mate.

Woooaa! I was just responding with a guess as no suggestions as to outage after 2 days. It was a bit off the cuff, I didn't mean to offend. Wasn't based on any facts other than the admin take over I was aware of as I do read posts on TC a fair bit. I am a website developer and know what it was like taking on my first serious website which I presumed it might be for Paul.

I am a member on there, but haven't posted a great deal. It is great for UTs certainly.

I wasn't sure that my brand of modifications was totally on the money for the vibe I get from the site. I am using components from other much more modern cars, the owners of which are on here and can provide better input or audience for my builds. This isn't a criticism of TC or approval of FF per se.

Right spoke to Simon via Facebook hes the chap who runs the server for TC and there was indeed a power spike that took the server down.
The latest news is that it should be sorted and up and running this Friday guys.
To reiterate Paul has been doing his upmost to rectify the problems, there are many things to sort out and have the site run to his methods so lets all support him lads.
