Technical turbo wastegate actuator

took the turbo off the new car.
noticed the waste gate actuator rod at a nasty angle! cant see it working like this(it does but wont last long i bet!)

my first plan was to bend the plate the actuator is on but the acutator is welded onto it

what would be the best way around this?
I was thinking of welding a plate onto the actuator will that be ok?

Can you not straighten the plate at the turbo end?

yeh but it needs hell of a lot of bending/twisting its quite think metal to and might strain or break that actuator off

Take the plate off the housing and try that.
