my hands also got blister from the hacksawing (not got a vice, holding it in place lol )
going to have a go at this second one in a bit
Failing this mums going to pick me up some magnetec to use for couple of weeks till i have the bolt sorted, dont want to use my selinia just to take it out again when i'm ready for the oil cooler fitting
done the second now, and this one threads fine... one problem though... f***********...dle sticks it still wont go! the exhaust from turbo to downpipe stops it, even on the thin tall one, would need a filter shaped like |> or something to be able to do it... looks like no oil cooler for me unless i redesign my downpipe
ok tried to "reshape" the filter using soft touches with a big adjustment tool mk2 however unfortunately its a no go... filter going on on its own, and budget oil going in for a couple of weeks till i have another go/brainstorm
right so you fit a take off plate to the engine filter plate. now you have an inlet and outlet hose to the pemote filter plate, yes?
where do you take the oil cooler feed/return from?
perhaps later they did this to take the heat away from the filter? think aarons is a later high boost isnt it? assume like mine ghosts is earlier?
so looks like a remote filter is the easiest answer for fitting the oil cooler
