I wouldn't let them touch the car. They shouldn't use the unichip for your engine at all.

The best way to go about is still a re-map.

Why, as far as I understood it's NOT like box tuning, it's been done on a lot of cars there, from the new renault laguna to mazda mps and nissan 350z...plus they did it on the dyno, witch is the only one available in my town...can you tell me what side effects could the unichip have?

PS. Thanks Peerzy for the graphs....it really showed improvements to you performance.

It shows as well when driving, Oldschool did it for me. He knows what he's talking about.

Yep, i know he knows a lot(y), but what am I supposed to do know...the unichip is already installed on the car....all it needs know is a remap...tomorrow I'm going there to see what they say and come up with more info.

Ignition advance is the problem, which is crucial for power and for a healthy engine.

I personally have never seen a unichip increasing the power in any way worth mentioning on modern cars.

Whent there today, told me it's the exaust sistem....so I guess i'll probably change it earlier then expected...keep you posted.

Hi Harry
I know you live in wonderland .... where is that? and who is the well known company?

Do you have any dyno prints of what you got from your car.. it will be interesting to compare to the ones from other members!!

Hy there, it's not actually Wonderland, but more like Anything's Possible Land:p....i'm from Romania and the well known company in well known in my country...here's the link in your're interested: http://www.mastertuner.ro/ if you'll look at the cars and the graphs there you'll see that the're pretty good. The dyno prints, I don't have them yet because the're not finished with it yet, but I can tell you that the stock version of my car on dyno was 123hp and 209Nm...if anyone else put there 120hp T-jet on dyno I'll be more than happy to see there results

think youve been had mate, theres nothing wrong with the sandard exhaust sytem, my t-jet has 161bhp after map and induction.

Do you have the T-jet 120hp on a grande punto? because if it is so, all the graphs that I saw with this car had at least 130 hp stock....mine had 123hp...soo, don't know, anyway they didn't change the exaust or anything....I'll put the graphs tomorow, hopefully.

it depends where yours ahs been RR'd.

the majority of us all use red dots rollers, so that we all know where getting results that are calibrated the same. ive used different rollers in the past and have had ariund a 15bhp difference before.

the only thing that would affect your power in the exhaust is the bore and the CAT tbh mate.

i honestly thinking that the company your using may be just trying to squeeze money out of you.

unichips are good, but i will allways be a fan of live mapping over tuning boxes.
