Technical Tuning a punto 1.2 16v???

allright peepz i want to tune my punto 1.2 16v what do you reccomend i get i am oviously going to get a new air filter bmc any good?? and a full stainless stell xaust system what else will be worth doing to get more bhp??? Superchipping it?? getting it cammed??? any suggestion plz

Angel tuning do a remap for the 1.2 16v. A full exhaust system including de-cat and new manifold, along with a new air filter will give you a few more bhp.

Is it a 16V? He doesnt remap a 8V or i would have had mine done. But id still rather wait till he can rather than stick a piggy back or unichip on.

damn they wont remap the punto mk1 does any 1 know any where else i can get a good chip from?

chipping would be one of the last things I do.

Manifold will make a big difference, as will decatting your car and a different back box, stay with supersprint as they are the only people to test their exhausts on the cars and proove performance gains over people like powerflow and longlife who "knock one up" for you - obiously not going to be done properly as with exhausts bigger isn't always better.

If you get the induction sorted (bmc filter is a good start), you might also want to consider a modified throttle body or porting and flowing the head.

after this I would do the remap (unless you want to spend more on the engine - which I doubt).
