Tuning a ECU

I have a clifford concept 650 cat 1 alarm now from a previous post i have a self learning ecu. so if i reset it then took it for a thrash it should tune it however does anyone know if i was to do this would my alarm kick in and KILL my car???

Surely thats down to the alarm and not the ECU.

Taking it for a trash won't let the ECU learn. The only learn at steady state driving and only after 10-15 mins of driving.
