Technical Transplant engine for 1.9 Ducato 10 TD SWB

2000 Ducato 10 TD SWB 1.9 Campervan
I've been nursing a dodgy gearbox for 7 years, as there aren't any replacement parts available. Eventually it's died
Has anyone successfully transplanted a different engine & gearbox into this chassis type.
