Technical TPS for right hand drive

I need a TPS (the accelerator bit) for a 2008 1.4 Sport.

Most of the ones I find for sale are stated as LHD only. Why are so many UK sellers selling parts that don't fit UK models, or do they fit RHD as well?

No, they're different. RHD part number is 51833723. If you put that in to the Shop4Parts website search bar, they have them in stock.

Thanks for the part number, that was the key to finding one. Used one from eBay is now on the way
