We have an 08 Panda Dynamic 1.2.

We've been wondering whether it would be feasible to tow a trailer tent with the car.

Does anyone have any experience/advice on the practicality of this?

Mine is a 1.1 Active Eco and pulls trailer bike all the gear we need to race and the two of us.

The brochure says that the max towable weight for the 1.2 is 800kg. This is probably conservative so as long as your trailer is under that you will be fine i'm sure.

I used to tow a boat quite regularly with my old panda classic (1000 super) no problems at all. They're tough little cars!

Thanks for that. I've been a bit nervous about doing anything that would stress the suspension after reading a piece in Honest John in the Telegraph about Fiat paying to fix damage because the suspension was designed for smooth Italian roads, not British bumpy ones.

I'll start looking for the trailer tent, then.

My Panda survived this the last 2 weeks :). Including My Wife & I & two teenage daughters. It still managed a genuine 48 plus mpg.
But my god it was gutless!

We were asked several times by complete strangers how the hell did we get that lot in that little car, one chap said he had less with him with an estate car and a van :D.

That's why you only got 48mpg, it's because of them 2 teenage daughters with make up, mobile phones, mp3 players etc :D :D :ROFLMAO:

Not just....It's the wifes make up, clothes for all occassions, hair drier, and she even took a microwave .

Whatever happened to real camping .
