I do watch it, and sometimes its funny in fact so funny it's almost as funny as J Clarkson thinks he is. I don't think it is fit viewing for anyone who takes it seriuosly.

As for the W12 Golf. Isn't that the engine fitted to the VW Phaeton?

One of the best shows on TV, and Clarkson is an absolute star.
You've only got to compare it with 5th gear to realise how good it really is. Tiff Needell is so boring. The only good thing about 5th gear is looking at Vicki Butler Henderson :yum:

Yes, two V6s bolted together, CAD bolts of course this is a German car. The Phaeton was reply to MB moving down market with the A class, but it's flopped mainly on badge snobbery, but also it was found to be somewhat reluctant to change direction. The Bentley is much the same car but despite the engine being in the same place it passes on both counts and has sold about 3x the forecast. I think they are ugly, but maybe the WAGs like them because they are no competition?
