General Top Gear Cool Wall

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this (apologies if so) but I noticed tonight that there are two Fiat 500's in the SUB ZERO section of the cool wall, the standard 500 and the Abarth!

I don't like how they never seem to actually 'do' the Cool Wall anymore, they never spoke about either the 500 or the 500 Abarth when they put them on there.

I noticed the model of the 500 on the table during the news, too. A black one with a white stripe.

When did they put the 500 Abarth on? I've seen the white 500 on the wall, it's been there for a while, but can't recall the episode when they put it on, or when/if they put the 500 Abarth on.

I think the 500 is sub zero, because both Clarkson and Hammond love it and James hates it, kinda speaks for its self

Easy, one its a Datsun and no Datsun/Nissan has ever been or ever will be cool. Two, its a car that every spotty teenage chav will drool over, and spend hours customising one on whatever games console he has and three it will be bought and owned by nobs, simple... no one nice will ever own one, they will be a know all and a my cars faster than your car sort See, thats not cool.

Aw NP, can I be an exception ?

I was fortunate enough to run an R33 in the mid nineties, was not mine I hasten to add, but it was running anything between 400bhp and 510bhp the times I ran it and it was fantastic. Did have to explain to people what it was when they saw the badge though.

I would have one tomorrow given the finances.

Oh, are you nice then? I used to be into the Jap scene a few years back and every GTR or Supra owner was a c*ck... I was a hairdresser myself with an MR2

Id never ever buy a big Jap coupe, they have no class or style, just gimmicky and characterless... IMO of course.

If you notice at the beginning of the cool wall section of the show hamster had a handful of car pickys in his hand but we only saw a couple go up on the board, guess the other footage ended up on the cutting room floor. Also loads of cars have been taken off at some point as the uncool board was totally full but there was loads of room for the GTR.

Incidently Skyline's are cool and so would the GTR be if they hadn't dropped the skyline part of the name.
