[Temp Gauge]

Is my temp gauage faulty

i drive about and then the temp gauage at tiems increase above half way mark
i get paranoid because i think its overheating then it drops back to half way

sometimes it has a mind of its own

seems faulty yes??


My car had a head gasket problem, which io fixed myself and this has happened after,, did i do something wrong?

Should only really do that when stationary as the fan kicks in. As long as it's consistant and drops back that's normal as it's the fan kicking in in reaction to rising temp.

Bleed the cooling system again and slap the dash above the temp gauge.
