Hi,
Does anyone know what this is under the bonnet of our camper?
I am guessing some kind of "piggyback" ECU/Chip tuning box?
I haven't had the top engine cover off yet to see where the wires end up.
If it is the above has anyone had any experience of these/this type, good, bad or indifferent.

Thanks

If there's a second battery to power stuff inside the van, my guess is this cold be the split charge relay.
When an alternator is connected to two batteries it will not charge them properly. It will sense the better one and top it up, the other will also get that charge, so will take forever to recharge. Caravans get a relay to control the alternator output to charge both batteries properly.

Still no good, lol.
I'll give it another go getting a pic tomorrow.
Maybe because I have used my phone

If it it a 'tuning' box I'm guessing its one of the crapola types that just changes the voltage from the rail pressure sensor to the ecu causing the ecu to put more pressure in the rail.

Hopefully these pictures are larger, taken with a camera rather than a phone

Yes I think you are right, I had the small plastic cover part off the front
of the cam cover tonight & it "T's" into (well its a Y shape really) the plug/part of the loom that goes to the pressure sensor in the centre of the fuel rail.
Is it worth leaving on or should I get rid of it?
Will it of caused the ECU to think that there has been low pressure at the rail at sometime & logged a fault code?

Happy with mine for the price they are available for now.
Check you MPG with it on, see what speed you can keep in top gear up hills, then remove it and compare.
I'd leave it on.
