Technical Mystery connection.

While running cables for my reversing camera I found this connection under the radio tray of my 2004 Ducato 244 2.8jtd motorhome.
Can anyone tell me what it is for and should it be connected somewhere?

There are lots of unused connectors for options not fitted to your particular van

I agree with @jackwhoo , possible candidates are "connect panel", or mobile phone.

It's for the head unit.... and the original would have been a Blaupunkt?

If you look at the photo you should be able to count across from what you've got to see what function the populated pins are for on the connector. (I think the green block is phone/handsfree related)

The triple connector is on the bottom row in the pic
The blue block is the left most lower block of connections in that block (3rd connector row down - i.e. below the one marked speaker) in the pic

Thanks, I had a feeling it might be for the audio system. The Fiat stereo has been replaced with a Kenwood unit by a previous owner, so I will just leave this cable tucked neatly away.
