well i bought one from lee/sherio
and despite sayign its fully workign i believe its not

now dont get me wrong im not saying this i a bad experience as lee has helped and presumed it was ok

here is what i believe is the problem

when plugged in the changer cooperates fine
when i press ejct the magazine/catridge comes out just a cm, no more

i was told by lee to ease it somehow although have trie this but dont wish to break it
now the screw on the side are so tiny i have to pay someone a few quid to check it

lee presumed this was how the grundig changers worked

i think not as if you hav to ease out (with great effort)the magazine everytim you wish to add a new cd
then its a right pain

ideally when you press eject the magazine shoudl come out and you can continue etc

but it doesnt at all

is there liek an eject pin i can push in?? liek you do on cd rooms if the cd tray dosnt come out??

this i believe is faulty but only in the magazine sense

this is becasue once pushed in the stereo readsa everythign as normal and although there are no cd in the 6 slots, it skism each one to fidn a track

so my only problem is the catrdieg/magazine

what do others think..

any solutions
any troubleshooting tips i you hgad the manual or from past experience like this??

tried ejeting both horizontal and vertical to no avail..

for the record this was also my thread

There is a manual eject lever on the side of all the compatable grundig changers I think (mine has one). Its a hole in the black casing that is about 1cm by 2cm (it may have a clear sticker with an arrow on over it).
There is a silver bit of metal you should see through the hole, this is the manual eject. Push it to the side a little with a screw driver or something and the magazine should come out, dont force it if it doesn't.
If it doesnt come out enough for you to slide it out without force you probably have a couple of CD trays stuck open. You have to slide something very thin down the edge of the magazine and try to get them back in. Its difficult to do but it is possible as i've done it.
If you get it out, you should consider putting some grease on the mechanism so that it doesnt get stuck again (keep it away from the laser though). Not had any problems with mine since I did it.
Good luck.
Ben
