The question, therefore, is: do I go for preserving originality (and possibly uniqueness...); or do I say it's just a Mk2, and it may or may not have had dimples... -- it was just chance... -- so who cares...?
Can anyone else with an early Mk2 please go and check for dimples... -- preferably on their Pandas...? :worship:
It did come with dimples....end of. Mine has dimples and needed a small repair. At the time I had another perfect tailgate, which I was going to give to the spray shop. I only noticed the dimples once to car came back from the shop....it was a sigh of relief when I realised the thing about this dimples issue. In fact was I the one which pointed out this fiat anomaly?
End of the day it really does not matter that much..after all my bianca may have dimples but, 85% of the rest of the cars parts are not what it left the factory with...

I have gone with the vox populi: and Betty is therefore having plastic (well, metal -- or whatever it is FIAT made Pandas out of...) surgery; and will have new dimples! :woot:
