update hubby returned unit to dealer.... returned with replacement unit........ lets hope this works..... ps do you have to update unit via the webb.......regards debbo ...

Having just collected my 500 i asked the salesman would he recommend the Fiat sat nav, he was very clear with his answer, NO! 'Its rubbish buy a TomTom'
You can buy a TomTom One QI from Amazon for £114 delivered next day, its a very good Sat Nav and you can move from car to car as others have mentioned. Plus you have regular map and other updates.

I got a blue and me satnav on Friday - Came with NO SD card even though the instructions say that it Does come with an SD card with the maps already installed. Tried to follow the direction to install maps onto a new SD card from the CD provided and the .exe file does not work.
I took it back yesterday and they the branch at fiat know nothing about it, they have advised that they have called fiat headoffice and they are checking if there are faults with other sat navs they have. I want my money back but they will not do this until fiat headoffice come back to them about the SD card.
A complete waste of time in all honesty considering the sat nav was one of the things that the salesman said was great it appears they know nothing about.

adams is rubbish, couldnt get us to brooklands!
had to use my tom tom or might of been the Garmin to get us there instead...
you can get the tom tom one for about £50 if you shop around
