Tuning TMC tuning box safe???

This will probably have been asked before but I can't find anything on it... Will a TMC tuning box damage my engine in any way at all (sporting 130) also will I notice a real difference torque wise? I know it is already has a lot of torque but for £70 I wouldn't mind a bit more

TMC box is totally safe. Had one on my car before i sold it.

Makes a huge improvment to the car, and it is fully adjustable anyway.

Reckon it pushes the car upto 150-160 but increase in torque and mpg is great!

Yup, i was averaging 37mpg before the kit, and was getting 44mpg after it, that was after 2000 miles, and usually town/short journey driving.

It may not be too bad for the engine but be aware that the extra torque will reduce clutch life and can lead to gearbox problems on the 1.9 m-jet.

Another point to remember is that the more torque and power you put through you will need to reduce the length of the cambelt change.

ive had one on my 1.9 for well over a year now with no issues at all. well pleased with the increases in driveability. the only down side is when you have pottered about town driving for some time, and finally boot it on a decent road, you leave the biggest smoke cloud in history lol. i know this is typical of diesels but its twice as bad with a box fitted. also you need fingers like e.t. to install it lol.
normal driving no smoke at all by the way.

I saw 160 235lb/ft with a tuning box cant remember what it is dynamic something or other

Its a common rail tuning box so u tap in to the common rail plug with the box and it forces more fuel in lol

iirc the 99 quid ones were the old single channel ones, now they are high tech ones an an little more money
