well guys what happened is a 84 yr old blind git in his f**k**g FORD festa
wasnt watching where he was going... not only do old people smell of wee they cant drive FACT.... the car was stationary and he ploughed into it, Could have killed him, The car was parked on a quiet side street cos i ran outta gas(bloody Teepot gauge).. walked to work and on my lunch hour went to pick her up, To my amazement on entering the side street it had gone,vanished, dissapeared.... can guess my reaction!! well as i neared where it was parked, i saw fragments strewned all over the street of my car, after futher investigation it had been towed away to a garage and cutting it short it in the hands of the insurance.... GUTTED OR WHAT MORTIFIED TOTALLY.... dont know if they gonna condemn her or what...time will tell, I hope not cos ive spent about £900 on her in the last 2 months on new parts alone.......

reason was that both corners on the bumper would not go on the car in anyway , evern with it extended there was no wayit would sit right on the front so i would have had to do something with it anyway , it did not have to be made longer too much but less rounded,

As bodykit wasnt declared mod they r refusing to pay out,
I told them it was not finished and was going to do so once
done .... Not intrested they said..
So they ripping the car to bits to try and find more mods....
So far non standard bits they have found ..air filter, back box, tints, wheels,lowering kit... Guess im kinda fu**ed... insult to injury or what..

turns out babz is with NIG insurance.. she insured under the "think Pink" company as they were the cheapest we could find, which then turned out to be under the company "fast track insurance"... which now, turns out to be under the name of NIG.. we have just claimed on a break in and your right, bunch of amatures!
We ring to make the claim, we get passed around a few departments, finaly speak to who we need to who says they will arange a garage to sort it and call us back with details.
next day, the garage phones us and says the insurance have arranged for collection this tuesday.
Now at this point, we have no idea what the garage are gonna do, estimate it first or just repair it and sort it with the insurance or what. we have heard nothing back from NIG atall
Bit worried though as the car has soem aftermarket mirrors that arent declared. luckily though, noone from the company itself has done or is doing a report, and the damage caused from the breakin doesnt directly effect the mods so the insurance shouldnt hear about them as im sure the garage doesnt really care...

to them about the mods and why they was not declared, 3 weeks later they want it in writing !! What the....
Just so another fat pratt in a suit can hum and har about it... the way its going we recon we gonna loose out without a hope in hell..
Me teepot is still in de compound feeling all sad,
Insurance still suspended!!! 4th week and no further
forward... Had the hire car taken away !!
Had to go out and buy a cheap run around
managed to get a Uno diesel off of Flea bay :slayer:
for 260.... 10mnts mot 4 mnths tax... bargain..:slayer:
PROJECT UNO + TIPO DONOR = 175bhp Uno on 17's....Mmmmm

What was broken on it to make it a cat B? All them modifications?
The only real thing what was broken is the rear light,
Havn'nt seen the car now for 5 weeks as been shifted here and there
by the insurance company,The insurance assessors say that the chassis
is twisted?? Cant say if it is or not ,like i say i hav'nt got the car back yet,
Bit of a pig, Was getting used to the idea of maybe getting her back on the road but no such luck now eh.... Guess she will be good to keep the rest of the forums cars going on strong for a little longer...

I feel for you mate i have just read through the whole thing and am speechless....
When this happens there is nothing you can do but pick up a large knife and go on a killing spree. But failing that put your energy into a new one, take what you have learnt from this first go and do it again but improving on it.
Once it is finished you will feel double satisfaction at what you have done mate.
Oh and do you have this Ford drivers address? i will send the lads round to have a word

not that i actually know what im talking about cos i cant aford my £2600 insurance (its only a £300 fine it cought without insurance, so whats my incentive here.) but shouldnt u be getting the bloke that hit you 's insurance company to pay, or is that what ur talking about?
