Tipo Sedicivalvole X 145 steering racks.

hi there. Anyone did this conversion:

145 rack is sharp and responsive. want to know if it fits into the Tipo.

Thats a rare car nowadays

As you will know.. they were closely related builds..

But you may well find there are awkward points to a swap

Have you compared part numbers on the column parts?

I havn't checked PNs yet. Not even have a 145 rack at the moment but will get one in a couple of weeks once a friend of mine is breaking one.

Will let you guys know. Would be great if they are exchangeable. The car character changes so much...

i am almost 100% sure that those racks are interchangeable. i've heard some people have done that to get better responsiveness, as you already know. also the rack from 155 can be used, but only from the "skinny", newer one. off course, a rack from the older model will also fit, but it has no improvements in responsiveness
