Cheers....Dave

Hi me again:)
These are the ones Im looking at buying:eek:well there was a link here,but I can't post it

Fiat Tipo

1.1, 1.4, 1.6, 1.6ie, 1.7d,

1.9d, 1.8
, 1.8ie, 1.9td, 2.0ie

4/1988/1995

Rear shocks (of Ebay)

Ive Email'd them a few times and others on Ebay.The only one to reply back said "We are not able to give you this information sorry":(.Ive even gone into my local motor factors,but they have no info on them.I would have to pay for the shocks up front because they are order only.No returns on the units unless they are faulty,witch doesn't help much as I want the measurements first.Any info will be greatly appreciated...Dave

Hi Hellcat

Standard shocks for something a bit more technical .
The size of the standard shock is what Im after.Mount hole centres compresed and fully extended,for a little project I have.
Just trying to weigh up if these shocks will do the job.Im going for an after market shock KYB gas adjust.I take it these will be the same length as a standard shock but a lot stiffer
Thanks...Dave

OK, found them....

They are standard oil shocks, spec'ed for a Tipo 1.4. Probably the same as for most Tipos and Brava/Bravos. except for the sporty ones...

distances between hole centres:
compressed = 220mm
extended = 323mm

I'll probably put them in the classifieds but you want uprated gas ones in any case..

John
