Hello,

I’m slowly getting through all of the problems with my sedicivalvole. It’s running well now and I’m starting to use it more.

One problem I have is with the fuel gauge.
The gauge works fine and shows how much fuel is in it but the low fuel orange light comes on when it drops just below half a tank.

I have spent the last year eradicating all of the warning lights on the dash and this last one is irritating me now. Anyone any ideas?

Thanks

On these, the fuel gauge and the low fuel light are separate inside the tank sender.
If the gauge is reading correctly but the warning light comes on at half a tank, it’s usually the low fuel switch inside the sender unit triggering too early.
Common on older cars, the switch wears or sticks over time.
Only real fix is to remove the sender and either clean/check it or replace it, as the switch point isn’t adjustable.
Before replacing, it’s worth pulling the sender and checking if the float arm is bent or sticking. Sometimes that’s enough to cause it.

Also going to check eper for a part number for replacement to find out it’s unobtainable like everything else for my car 😂
I'd be amazed if you do find it in ePER. Unfortunately ePER does not give the fuel pump assembly components part numbers for every piece inside. Just gives you the fuel pump assembly.
If you are lucky, maybe you find a number on the one you have, after you take it out and with that, maybe you can get a new one.
