Hello,
I’m just wondering if the 2.0 16v Tipo has a cabin filter.
The reason I ask is I have just replaced one on my Kia ceed daily driver, and I don’t think it has ever been changed in 12 years and it’s pretty grim.

My tipo was built in 1991, and if it has one, it’s more than likely due a change, but I can’t find online anything about it.

Pics of my ceed’s filter- no wonder the car was steaming up and air con not blowing properly.

Thanks

I had a look in my technical books that usually show where they are located , but your age of vehicles are not showing pollen filters and I see online that apart from Saab many manufacturers didn't fit them until late 90s, so you may not have one.

Ok thanks for checking.
When you look online, febi for example list one for a Tipo 160 2.0 16v but this may be for a car with air con?
My version has air con but there is absolutely no provision for a filter. Filter listings for the UK are an anomaly as our lungs are the filter. The wipers get in the way on RHD cars but on my thread a few years ago I butchered the smaller casing version for European Tempras. I find the fan feeble and the filter makes that worse, but the evaporator (and my lungs lol) need protecting.
