General Timing belt 1.9 JTD dynamic 2002

Anyone know how much I should expect to pay for a garage to fit a new timing belt on a 1.9 JTD ?

When I booked mine in earlier this year, I was quoted £320 (inc. VAT).

In the event, the idle-tensioner was faulty so they had most of the work done under warranty and I paid for the belt and an hours labour, so it came to about £70 with Fiat Warranty picking up the resk.

I was quoted £650 - £700 but this included the 72k service.

As a friend works at the dealer, I finally paid £444 which included new rear bushes. Let us know how you get on.
