just to be clear, all pistons must be level. piston 1 (furthest away from the gearbox) must be moving down when the crankshaft is turned clockwise, when all pistons are level fit the camshaft locking tools to lock the camshafts, when you remove the timing belt DO NOT turn the crankshaft or the engine will be out of time, fit new timing belt and tensioner and tension the belt, remove all timing tools and you should be good to go. simples
