Hi.

My Tipo has done it again. :yuck:

This time the timer belt seems jammed. When I turn on the ignition, the starter works fine, the alternator belt too but the timer belt doesn't. It's just solid!

Any advice on this, please, before I start disassembling?

Best regards,
Luis

have you changed the rollar bearings on the cog that spins the timing belt? could it be any of the other cogs thats jammed up causing the timing belt not to spin?

You tried WD40?

As someones sig says, You only need two tools.

If its stuck and should move, WD40
If its moving and it shouldn't, Duct Tape

:D

Hi. The winner is ... the rabbit! :D The belt "teeth" have gone, literally! I'll be replacing both the alternator and the timer belts as soon as I bring the car home. Thanks a lot for your replies! (y)

Best regards,
Luis
