Time to join experienced owners

Hi all, have owned Punto 1.2 8v easy since 2013. Purchased from dealer. Just out of warranty and rumble turned out to be a destroyed gearbox pinion. After many "discussions" new pinion, new design seal and new design oil thrower were fitted. Cost negotiated but still had to be paid for. New battery last year, new tyres over 2 years, new exhaust. At 40mpg over life and comfortable ride have been pleased. Other motor Japanese import Elgrand.

My own 2013 punto has just had its 1st mechanical failure

It was a £50 part I could fit myself

Pretty good after 10 years and 70k miles

FIAT tecnology developing through generations gave me the confidence to buy the Punto
It has done very well ,great on fuel too !
