ticking noise behind dashboard drivers side?

does anyone know what this could be . it is really loud if you bend down and listen when the door is open as it is coming from the far right hand side of the dash. it is not there all the time but im worried that it coulb be expensive.

could be ur window wiper motor ticking, mine does it.

Mine does that now and again. all on done to stop it was keep turning my windscreen wipers on and off. It now causes no problem.
