I strongly dissagre.
Search the forum and I bet you will find more than one with a faulty throtle house

Sensor and housing are different items,
As I mentioned in your other thread, have you cleared the fault after replacing the part using a code reader? And what code reader have you used, some may not identify the correct fault.
If you have cleared the fault and it re-occurs straight away I would suggest either incorrect diagnosis/part replaced or even incorrect part supplied.
Throttle bodies are really common, position sensor personally I've not come across

I would strongly disagree with you! A lot of people report this problem and attribute it to the throttle position sensor, the problem is more often than not the connections to the sensor not the sensor itself! It is a lot easier for people to replace the sensor that to check all the connections, just because it throws up a code of throttle position sensor it does not mean the sensor is faulty!!!!!! It can be the connections to it.

I think digger58 is right.
In a Ducato - and probably other Fiats as well - most issues are bad contacts. When a vehicle gets older, moisture corrodes everything that isn't gold plated. And I've never found a gold plated contact in my van!

Do you mean that the sensor is not inside the throttle body? Where would it be located then? Difference 3 vs 2,2 liter?

To be honest, 2.2 litre I have no experience personally of, you could be correct in the sensor being part of the throttle body, but my 2.3 & 3.0 experience is that the "motor or actuator" which operates the throttle valve on the throttle body, isn't so much a sensor as the ECU senses the position due to fly by wire, and tell the throttle body motor or actuator what position it needs to be in at any given moment.
Plus it's not a separate part, hence replacing the body (2.3 once and 3.0 twice) plus earth straps. Thankfully no (touch wood) wiring faults yet..

Rossa's other thread suggests he suspects his accelerator (aka throttle) position sensor is faulty and has replaced this.

It is likely then that his enquiry on this thread relates to that and not the wretched throttle body located on the inlet manifold (which AFAIK doesn't have a position sensor only an actuator)

Of course! The OP meant accelerator sensor, some kind of potentiometer above the pedal. If it doesn't work you buy a new one, install it and the job's done.
The throttle position sensor may or may not be present in the housing. Irrelevant because the Fiat wiring omits it, at least in the older models. There are only 2 wires connected to the throttle body!

Going back to my Peugeot parts days 2000-08 (as the engine in question is the 2.2 pug/ford lump, and I have zero knowledge of its bolted on bits in a Ducato,
One part we used to sell a few of on the pug hdi's, wether it's any use or even if it has one fitted, which the iveco 2.3/3.0 doesn't (that I'm aware of)
Is an idle control actuator/motor
Common ish part number off top of my head was 1920v7 (pug part number subject to engine variant, chassis no etc etc)
The name suggests it could be the problem part if it's got one fitted
