advice for anyone with your allergy / intolerance will help other people even if not a member

can't drink milk or milk products anymore but am eternally addicted to pizza (lots of cheese) usually = feeling sick for a few hours after a dominos but its worth it

can't drink nice coffees from costa/starbucks type places anymore have to stick to black tea or coffee, even soya milk doesn't seem to like me :(

have gotten used to Tea without milk but everyone else thinks i'm mental for not having milk in tea, and whisper in the corner "yeah him hes that weirdo who doesn't have milk in tea"

Rice milk is also quite yummy (prefer it to the almond stuff; and am not a major fan of Alpro) -- and you can get it with various degrees of sweetness. :yum:

Also use the Lactofree range -- but seem to be developing intolerance to dairy, now, not just lactose... -- and, like AndyRKett, I love cheese....

I therefore drink my coffee black (although am fed up with being offered milk with an Americano...); and tend to stick to herb teas.

I hate all Vauxhall drivers, oops, didn't realise it wasn't about that sort of intolerance.

My wife is wheat intolerant btw, sucks.....

Been forced to eat wheat free i have lost 5 lbs :)
mainly cause takeaways are off menu without researching take away.

also i get free beer in restaurants cause they have to cook food from scratch :)
and it takes longer.and oftern 2 waiters serve you so the second weighter gives free stuff as well :)

Fortunately I don't have any intolerances but my colleague at work is allergic to both wheat and milk. Makes for interesting office meals out as we almost always end up at one of two places. Thai or burgers (without the bun), which suits me fine as they are my favourites anyway :)

Really annoying in Starbucks when you ask for a Chai Tea and then they try and put milk in it!

I normally get unsweetened almond from alpro however picked up organic rice milk on the back of your recommendation.

I'm not intolerant, but I have read tones about how bad cow milk is got you.

I'm allergic to orange peel but not the actual orange. It's embarrassing asking people at work to peel them for me, but they're so nice! My mum's the same
just oranges?

knew someone who was allergic to tomatoes.
with different degrees of reactions. tomatoes full on hospital job
heinz baked beans a minor headake

Where do I start.....

I have skin allergies that can come and go and not always predictable a change in washing powder can cause skin blisters, or a rash, often referred to as an outbreak of hives or urticaria

Shell fish makes my insides turn inside out in both directions. My face can swell and my skin goes very very red :yuck:(n)

Then there's irritable bowel syndrome which is actually recently been diagnosed as Inflamed Bowel Syndrome with proctitis colitis...... so for the next few months who knows what food I will be intolerant of.... So far green peppers, eggs and beer have led to crippling stomach cramps, noodles seem to open the rear flood gates, bread causes a back log.

Not happy times right now :(

EDIT: I forgot dust, cats (doh got 2) and pollen all give me chronic hayfever!

Further to this, it is very nice, far better in tea and coffee than almond milk.

However it isn't as good for you I believe from what I've read.
