After owning a mk1 ulysse for 5 yrs and never having a problem, thought we would px the old girl for a 1 year old 2.0 eleganza auto with 14000 on the clock noticed on sale wear on front tyres they paid for me to replace one, luvvly motor for 4 months then autobox playing up new selector new switchgear then finally new gbox in for 2 weeks 11 other faults including outer edge wear on rear n/s dealer was concerned as have not noticed any problems with these vcls before, would need to get 4 wheel alignment done which they could not do but it will be booked in at their other branch who had the equip. fine went on holiday 2 weeks, 2 weeks after gave the dealer a call only to find that there was no more dealer, spoke to other branch who were busy putting up a vauxhall sign and have had no contact regarding my vcl. As I work for one of the major breakdown companies all I can say about dealers is I shouldnt be surprised, still time to find another dealer and start again, apart from that loooove the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hiya thanks for your reply I live in the southend on sea in essex area where the dealers are thinnig out abit nearest about 25 miles now, was reading earlier about fiat are maybe offering the extended warranties! Did anyone come up with any joy on this? (am thinking it might be a good idea soon!)
