Liking the colour choice m8...looks good :)

Only one thing i would have done slightly different is to try and get the mould it all flat with the pods sticking out...if you know what i mean...

Good use of unused space, as you cant stick anything in there 'cos it just flies out on the first corner.

re

cheers!

it was easier than i thoght to take it out actually!

i knwo what yo mean about smoothing it right off than making pods, but i didnt want to block passengers view to much and the shape of it looks better in real life from drivers seat how it is in my opinion anyway!

i love it mate. top job. was that a pillar pod??? i want a pillar pod but not havin a turbo makes it pointless.

re,

cheers

no, it wasnt a pillar pod, i just cut 3 mdf rings to take the gauges then made some framework to hold them where i wanted them then fibreglassed over.

you coudl still have oil pressure, air/fuel ratio and voltage gauge or something?

Re: re,

I have an autometer vacuum gauge ;)

Re: re,

Looks good Alan.... what have you used to make the pods? MDF? I keep toying with the idea of having a go with making somin but dont know much about how its done.

Cheers
Mr Al.

re

i used thin stips of mdf to make a frame, then bent some mesh over then that sheet fibreglass stuff you can buy then filler, still needs more filler and smoothing!

Tom - the airbag ligh tis on now! lol, as i didnt bother putting fuse back in or connecting up the airbag! i want to get aftermarket steering wheel soon anyway, and didnt want to go through the amoutn of fear i had the first time i tried ot disconnect it after the horror stories people told me !lol

Re: re

Any tips on how to get the dash out? i am planning a dash swap, and just wondered if you have any pointers?
