Can somebody help me with this?!
Until recently the fuel gauge in my bravo has stopped working, i put £20 in the other night and it hardly reached 1/4 of the tank.
Because this has happened I've ran out of fuel twice, im thinking it might be the fuel sender unit, but i have no idea what im doing, can somebody please point me in the right direction, i will be ever so thankful.
Cheers
Nick

To get to the fuel sender unit it is in the boot under the carpet in the right corner there is a black plastic cover undo the 3 screw take of the cover just take of the pipes and disconnect the wired plug then yuo need to twist of the ring around the top of the unit and then just pull out the sender unit. Don't forget the fuel will be under preasure so it will splurt a bit when taking the pipe of. hope this helps

UPDATE:

went scrapyard and got a Whole Fuel pump of a N Reg Bravo 1.4SX, fitted it all up, but for some reason it sometimes goes under the Empty mark, Still confused, must be something else or Tescos overpriced fuel.

thought it was norm they went past the empty mark..... it means your LOWWWWW on fuel and fill it up.... trust the light, the light seems to be controled by something else as my guage has been below the E and the light not on upon first start up so if the lights on put fuel in....

ill get a pic of mine tomorrow, it still drives with the needle over the actual E
