Thinking of selling the JTD - any interest...

Hi all, thinking of selling the JTD as i am broke.

She is

2001 JTD 100 SX in nero black.

Car has done 79K (had a new engine at 78K which had covered 48K)

Car has had the cambelt change (when engine was swopped)

Good bits:

Has been remapped by angel tuning

She has abarth sideskirts and spoiler, currently a leather interior though i may split.

Polyeliptical headlights

White side repeaters

17 white team dynamics alloys (though i may sell seperately)


Bad bits:

When engine has been fitted, there has been a bit of damage to the sill (i think the idiots have lifted it on sill and creased it a little) this has also slightly bent the bottom of the drivers door. I think this could be easily bent back.

Bonnet is ever so slightly ill fitting due to a nudge last year. Not really noticable but could be easily sorted.

Speedo needles on fuel and temp go crazy when starting then calm after about 10 mins of driving.

I am currently thinking about a price, just wanted to gauge interest.

Whare did you get the dynamics from? did you have the stud patern drilled yourself?

I got the wheels from ebay, some guy had em on his punto, not drilled. Fit perfectly.

They are the pro race ones and look fab on car.

In relation to leather, i may split...if i sell car but the front seats are NOT heated. Dont know why, but theyre not

Stu- only the HLX version (1.6, 1.8 and diesels) came with heated seats, as yours is a SX version you won`t have them as standard and its possible the leathers might have been re-covered at some point maybe? who knows

They do look exactly the same as the fiat grey leather tho!

good quality pictures of the car on all 4 angles with another of under the bonet and 2 of the inside would greatly help a valuation

well i was only gauging any interest but here are some photos i have to hand. I dont have any of the interior unfortunately.

Notice the abarth front...that is no longer on the car due to the aforementioned nudge it has just a standard bumper.

Nothing wrong with guaging interest, but the minute you put contact details on, you are breaching the forum rules on selling. You have a couple of options. You can put the car on eBay (or another site where you are required to sign up to sell) and post the link here. Or you can pay Wimmy £5 to join BOO for a year which will allow you to sell whatever you like via the forum.

These measures were introduced to protect people buying from unknown individuals and getting ripped off, which happened on a number of occasions. I am not suggesting that this is the case with you, but we have to enforce the rule across the board so that we are seen to be fair. I've already stretched the rules by leaving this post on here as "guaging interest" threads are covered by the same rules.
