My car has had a dodgy throttle response since I fitted a new MAF a couple of weeks ago after a diagnostic test revealed this at fault. I checked through my service history and found that it's had a new potentiometer about 4 years ago so i'm starting to think it might be that at fault again
It's not so terrible that it's undrivable, it's just that when I push the accerator on hardish there's a slight delay and then there's no 'in between', it's just ON. If I push it on slowly however it is fine.
I'm thinking a bit of a clean might help? I know the MAF is just before that though so maybe it got knocked or something when I replaced it? It's a 2.0 Marea 155 btw for those who don't know.
Cheers in advance.
