Back in the early 70's when I was doing racing tyres and giving technical support to our teams our most successful client was Autodelta Alfa Romeo. Ever since I've just loved the sight of a well sorted competition Alfa. I agree , a lovely looking car, a bit like a posher version of the 1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV I had that went the way of the first wife in divorce settlement.

That's for a minimum spec., but it's usually much higher these days aiui!

I'd agree that the Alfa Giulia Sprint GT / GTA is one of the most beautiful cars ever, Jock.

One of those things I always regret not getting when they were affordable. But then I know I'd only have watched it rust away.

Now my idea of perfection would be a fairly standard road Sprint GT but in RUSTPROOF spec!

Maybe a more modern, efficient and *ahem* "reliable"(?) Alfa four pot for regular use, but otherwise standard.

I notice that Totem outfit in the link replace the panels with carbon fibre, so that's a good start.

I wonder if they also rustproof the chassis, sills, windscreen frame and, er everything else for your 400k?

I think I'm in agreement with @Bonefish Blues, restomods just ain't quite my cup of tea.
